1) CLEAN

2) TWIST
the black suction cup by turning it counter-clockwise at least two revolutions.
3) PUSH
the suction cup firmly onto the CLEAN glass of your sliding door.
4) TURN
the handle clockwise until it becomes difficult to continue. This will tighten the vacuum hold.
5) SLIDE
the door open and closed with your elbow, arm, hip, or whatever!
